Ingredients

40-45 min
2 serving
  • Basmati rice(soaked):- 2 & 1/2 cup
  • 500 gmChicken with bone
  • 2 tbspGhee
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 2Onion medium size(sliced)
  • 2 cupBrowned onion
  • 2 tbspGinger garlick paste
  • 1 tspTermeric powder
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspKashmiri laal mirch
  • 1 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tbspBiriyani masala
  • 1 tbspLemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 cupCurd
  • Some whole spice
  • 2Cardamom
  • 3-4Cloves
  • 1 inchCinnamon stick
  • 4-5Green chilli slit
  • 2 tbspFresh cream
  • 1/2 cupChopped Coriander
  • Pinchsaffron(soaked in milk)
  • 1 tbspRose water
  • For rice
  • 1 inchCinnamon stick
  • 3-4Cloves
  • 1Bay leaf
  • Some whole spices
  • 2cardamom
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspFresh chopped Coriander:-
  • 1 tspLemon juice:-

Steps

40-45 min
  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl add chicken,salt,ginger garlick paste,termeric powder,red chilli powder,kashmiri laal mirch,garam masala powder,biriyani masala & lime juice mix it well & set aside.

  2. 2

    Boiled the rice add salt,whole spices,lime juice & chopped Coriander. Drained the exces water and set aside.

  3. 3

    Heat ghee in deep pan add some whole spices & satue still fragrent. Add onion slices & satue till browned.

  4. 4

    Add marinated chicken and mix it well. Cover and cook 10-15 min.

  5. 5

    Add Coriander powder & green chilli & mix it well. Add curd and mix & cook it 5 min. Add some chopped Coriander and stir.

  6. 6

    Add half cooked rice on the chicken & add salt, remaining biriyani masala, browned onion, & add cream & melted butter on top of the rice and saffron and rose water & mix it. Then add chopped Coriander & tightly cover the pan.

  7. 7

    Cook it 20-25 min in low flame.

  8. 8

    Garnished with tomato,onion ring & chopped Coriander & serve hot.
