Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoonfennel seed
  • 1/2 teaspoonfenugreek seed
  • 1/2 teaspoonbanarasi black mustard
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoonnigella seed
  • 1 pinchasfoetida
  • 1 inchcinnamom
  • 1 tablespoonclarified butter
  • 2green chilli
  • 1 teaspoongarlic paste
  • 1 cuptomato puree
  • 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  • 1medium size potato
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • To tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast all the dry spices then add ghee.

  2. 2

    Add garlic paste and tomato puree. Cook for 10 min

  3. 3

    Add green chilli and garam masala. Cook for another 2 min

  4. 4

    Add salt and potato. Mix in it propery

  5. 5

    Add 1/2 cup water. Cook for 3-4 mins

  6. 6

    Serve hot with kachori or puri.
