Vegetable Tapioca Biryani (Vegetable Kappa Biryani)

This is a Veg Version of Kappa/ Tapioca Biryani for Vegetarians. The Original Kappa/ Tapioca Biryani is prepared by cooking meat with Tapioca. This Veg version has to be made spicy so that it would match the Non Veg Kappa Biryani.
This is specially for all Vegetarians who would like Prepare & Enjoy Kappa Biryani at Home.
Vegetable Tapioca Biryani (Vegetable Kappa Biryani)
This is a Veg Version of Kappa/ Tapioca Biryani for Vegetarians. The Original Kappa/ Tapioca Biryani is prepared by cooking meat with Tapioca. This Veg version has to be made spicy so that it would match the Non Veg Kappa Biryani.

Steps

Cut tapioca (Kappa) into small pieces & cook with turmeric powder, salt & water. Cook it until it becomes soft. Drain the water completely & keep it aside.

Heat a pan and add oil, 1 sliced onion, 2 green chillies, curry leaves & little salt. Saute it well. Now add ginger garlic paste. Saute it. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, biriyani masala & saute well. Now add 1 chopped tomato & saute well.

Now add chopped beans, carrot (1) and mix well. Add little water & cook till it becomes soft. Now add cooked tapioca & mix well. Add salt if necessary.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves & Curry leaves. This Veg version has to be made spicy so that it would match the Non Veg Kappa Biryani.
