Kofta made from a mixture of ground beef and seasonings, shaped into logs and fried. Serve with tahini sauce, salad, and pita bread.
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, tomato juice, cilantro, parsley, and green chili. Mix well until the mixture is easy to shape.
- 2
Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, spice blend, and dried mint.
- 3
Shape the kofta into medium-sized logs or patties.
- 4
Place them in a pan or skillet over high heat, cover, and cook for 5 minutes until the juices are released.
- 5
Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 to 30 minutes until the kofta absorbs all the juices.
- 6
At the end, either let the kofta brown in its own fat in the same pan or skillet,
- 7
Or drizzle with a tablespoon of oil and bake in the oven for 10 minutes until browned. Serve hot.
