Boil the daal in a pressure cooker adding salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,red chilli whole and curry leaves

Add the onion chopped and fry well
- 4
Add the vegetables and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- 5
Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute well
- 6
Cover it for 10 mnts or so
- 7
Add the daal and boil adding the Sambhar masala
- 8
Add tamarind pulp mix
- 9
Finally add sugar and mix
- 10
Serve it with main course
