Peas and Barley salad

#FIHRCookpadContest Salads can be made with raw vegetables or cooked/raw sprouts or soaked beans. This is the only food which I don't get bored of.
Black chana is a good sauce of protein, cowpeas are veey rich in potassium, moong is a good sauce of carbohydrate and fiber, peas are good sauce of Vit A and Barley is a good sauce of vitB1, fiber and a damn good summer coolant.

Soak all the peas together for 4 to 5 hours. Soak barley and moong separately for 3hours

Wash and rinse the soaked peas and cook them. Cook barley separately and cook moong separately.

Strain after the peas are cooked. Keep aside. Strain barley and we can drink water by adding lil salt in it. Strain moong and keep aside.

Mix all the cooked peas and Barley once they are cool. Add the seasoning and chopped onion and chillies.

Peas and Barley salad is ready. Don't throw the water in which barley is cooked. Add lil salt and half lemon, mix some water and summer coolant is ready which goes very well with this salad.
