Make a batter by mixing maida, cornflour,cocoa powder,curd and baking soda.Keep it for one hour. Consistency should be neither thin nor thick. No lumps should be there.

On the other hand, make a chashni of one string consistency by mixing sugar in water. Cool it. Add chocolate essence.

Heat oil in a kadhai.Fill the batter in a jalebi maker.Keep the heat medium.Swirl the batter from jalebi maker in the shape of jalebi. Swirl them from inside to out side.

Fry them till they get crisp on both sides.

Take out from the kadhai and dip them in lukewarm syrup.Soak them for 5 min.Take them out from syrup.Drain and serve.

Serve hot.
