Boricua Bar B Cue Ribs

Pork is not just the other white meat. ..it's the main meat for Puerto Rican's. I have no facts as to why. Growing up in a Puerto Rican household we always had some kind of pork cut. Here is how my grandmother showed me to do bar b cue ribs. As I share this, she is 95 years old and still going strong. Wepa!

Steps
- 1
First boil your ribs in a huge pot. Make sure to add a generous amount of vinegar. (1 cup)
- 2
Continue to boil for approximately 1 hour. Some of the fat and grease should be floating on top.
- 3
Remove the cooked ribs from the pot into an aluminum pan.
- 4
Season both sides with Adobo, pepper and Montreal style seasoning.
- 5
Smear a thin coating of yellow mustard on both sides evenly, mixing it with the seasoning.
- 6
Cover with foil and pop into the oven for 30 min. (350 degrees).
- 7
Remove and pour a generous amount of bar b cue sauce on both sides.
- 8
Return to the oven for 10 minutes.
- 9
Take out and fix with whatever sides you may like.
