Ingredients

  1. 6prawns(did not get the kg measurements)
  2. For the marinade
  3. Lemon juice...from one lemon
  4. pinchSalt...a
  5. tbspOyster sauce...3-4
  6. For the coating(just enough to coat the prawns)
  7. Flour
  8. Dessicated coconut
  9. Egg wash
  10. Oil for deep frying....enough oil to deep fry them

Steps

    Get your prawns ready

    Remove the skin(or is it the shell).Be careful when you reach the tail area. Slice it through to remove the intestines. Cut off the head too

  3. 3

    Clean your prawns in plenty of water. Best done in a sink under running water

    Time to prepare the marinade... In a bowl, add some lemon juice, salt, and oyster sauce. Add your prawns and mix till well combined

    Get three plates ready... One with wheat flour, another egg wash, and another dessicated coconut

  6. 6

    Dip your marinated prawns in wheat flour first, shake off the excess, next to the eggwash(beat one eggs and a few drops of water/milk)...lastly is the dessicated coconut

  7. 7

    Set aside... As you oil heats up

    Put your prawns in the hot oil gently and let them dry for 3-4 minutes.. They will achieve a nice golden brown color

    Garnish as you please...Yum
