Put water in a pan

Put the eggs in the pan

Bring the water to boil

The amount of time will depend on how you want your boiled egg served

While done,take a pan with cold water and put your eggs in immediately after removing it from the fire.

N/B- over cooking the egg will cause sulfide to form hence giving the yolk a grey colour. The colour usually results from a chemical reaction between the iron in the egg yolk and hydrogen sulfide in the egg white.

Put salt on a platter and put your eggs on top
