Ingredients

  1. 4green chillies (moti mirch), slit and deseeded
  2. as neededOil for deep frying
  3. For the batter:
  4. 1 cupbesan/ gram flour
  5. as neededCold water (colder the water, crispier the pakodas)
  6. 1-2chopped green chillies
  7. 1 tablespoonchopped Coriander leaves
  8. 1/2 teaspoonginger paste
  9. 1/2 teaspoonajwain
  10. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. For the filling:
  13. 1potato, boiled and mashed
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1/2 tspzeera/ cumin
  16. 1/2 teaspoonajwain
  17. 1/2redchilli powder
  18. 1/2 teaspoonchat masala
  19. 1/2 tspginger paste
  20. 1/2 tspsugar
  21. 1 teaspoonginger paste
  22. 1 tablespoonchopped Coriander leaves

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl mix all the filling ingredients.

    In another bowl mix all the batter ingredients.

    Adjust the water amount keeping the consistency medium-thick. Batter should not be too runny

  4. 4

    Fill the de-seeded chillies with the prepared filling

  5. 5

    Dip in the batter and drop in the hot medium oil to fry

    Fry till golden
