Ingredients

  1. 750 gmsPrawns
  2. 3 bunchesgongura
  3. 30garlic pods
  4. 1lemon
  5. 2 tbsproasted jeera
  6. 30soaked red chillies
  7. 1 tspoil for masala
  8. as neededOil for shallow fry
  9. To tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind garlic,roasted jeera,soaked red chillies, salt coarsely.

    Add 1tsp oil, juice of one lemon and blend for 5secs again

    Clean and devein prawns

    Marinate the prawns with the above mixture

    Leave it overnight in the fridge for marination

  6. 6

    Wash and clean gongura leaves.

    Cook the gongura leaves by adding very little water

    Cool it and grind it adding salt as required

    Add this paste to the marinated prawns.

    Mix well and leave 30mins to 1hour for marination

    Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan and shallow fry the prawns

    Once prawns are completely cooked, serve with hot white rice
