Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, gently add the egg and cook over medium heat for 6 minutes and 30 seconds. If the egg is cold from the fridge, boil for 7 minutes; if it's at room temperature, boil for 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Make sure the water covers the egg completely.

Transfer the egg to an ice water bath for 3 minutes.

Peel and cut the egg in half. Today, Susu served the soft-boiled egg with noodles. The yolk was such a beautiful bright color—so delicious! Highly recommended!
