Ingredients

4 cheelas
  1. 1 tbspdaal(urad dhuli)
  2. 1 tbspgrated louki
  3. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  4. 2green chilli
  5. pinchhing
  6. to tastesalt
  7. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  8. 1 tspCumin seeds
  9. 1 tspGaram masala
  10. 1 tbspchopped coriander leaves

Steps

    Wash and soak all the daals for 6 hrs.

  2. 2

    Grind them along with green chillis to a smooth paste.

  3. 3

    Cover and leave for 1 hour

  4. 4

    Add grated louki, ginger garlic paste, all the masalas, coriander leaves and mix nicely.

  5. 5

    Heat a pan. Grease it with oil. Sprinkle few drops of water and spread the batter evenly. Cook with oil from both the sides on low flame by pressing slowly so that they become crispy.

  6. 6

    Cheela is ready to be served along with any chutney or raita.
