Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  • 200 gramgourd sliced
  • 3Potatoes cut into cubes
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1" ginger paste
  • 1 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1/2tomato chopped
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1red chilli whole
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and saute the Potatoes and gourd well adding salt and turmeric powder and cover till it become soft

  2. 2

    In another pan heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add onion slices saute well adding ginger

  4. 4

    Saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  5. 5

    Add cumin powder and tomato saute well till it starts releasing oil

  6. 6

    Now add the fried vegetables and saute well adding water

  7. 7

    As everything get combined well add sugar and garam masala powder

  8. 8

    Boil it well and switch off the flame

  9. 9

    Serve it with rice or roti
