Ingredients

  1. 11/2 cupsuji (samolina)
  2. 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cupcurd
  4. 1/2 cupoil
  5. 1 cuppowder sugar
  6. 1 tspbaking powder
  7. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  8. 1 tspvanilla essence
  9. 1 cupmilk
  10. For chocolate ganach:
  11. 1/2 cupdark chocolate pieces
  12. 1/2 cupfresh cream
  13. 1 tspbutter
  14. For garnishing:
  15. as neededChocolate biscuits
  16. stickChocolate
  17. Butter toffee(for flowers)
  18. Colourful sprinkle

Steps

  1. 1

    To make cake batter, beat the curd properly with the help of whisk.

  2. 2

    Then add powder sugar and oil and mix it well. Add samolina,all purpose flour and 1/2 cup milk and mix it. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    After 15 minutes, add 1/2 cup milk and mix it well.

  4. 4

    Then add baking powder,baking soda, essence and mix it.

  5. 5

    Place the batter in greased cake mould. Bake it 180d for 40 to 45 minutes in preheated oven. Then cool the cake.

  6. 6

    For chocolate ganach, heat the fresh cream then switch off the flame, add chocolate pieces and mix it,add butter and mix it well.

  7. 7

    Pour this chocolate ganach over the cake and keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour to set the ganach.

  8. 8

    Decorate it with chocolate biscuits, chocolate sticks and colourful sprinkles.
