Ingredients

20 minutes
4 people
  • 1 poundground beef
  • 1.5 cupswater
  • 1.5 cupsinstant white rice
  • Halfonion (we prefer yellow, finely chopped)
  • .5 cupketchup
  • 1 tablespoonyellow mustard
  • 1 cupshredded cheese (I use cheddar)

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Brown beef in skillet with onion, drain

    Add water, ketchup, mustard & bring to a boil

    Add rice, remove from heat, cover & let sit 5 minutes

    Add cheese, cover & let sit 5 minutes

    Optional: top with pickles before serving
