Taco Rice: Local dish from Okinawa, Japan

Ingredients

4 people
  1. 400 gMinced meat
  2. 1Onion
  3. 2 pieceGarlic
  4. 1/2Lettuce
  5. Sliced cheese
  6. 1Abocado
  7. 1Tomato
  8. 4 tbspKetchup
  9. 2 tbspWorcester sauce *
  10. 2 tspSoy sauce *
  11. 2 tspCurry powder *
  12. 2 tspSugar *

Cooking Instructions

    Finely mince garlic, onion, tomato, avocado and thinly cut lettuce into strips.

    Mix all the ingredients in "*"

  3. 3

    Add vegetable oil in the pan and cook the garlic until you start to smell it.

  4. 4

    Add in onion and cook until it gets soft

  5. 5

    Add in minced meat and cook until it changes colour

  6. 6

    Mix in the ingredients sauce you've made in step 2. Mix it well and cook until it's no longer sloppy. Your taco meat is ready!

    Place rice on a plate and add topics in following order
    - Cheese
    - Lettuce
    - Taco meat
    - Tomato
    - Avocado
    - Cheese / Taco chips

    If you have extra time, I strongly recommend eating it with fried egg!
