Heat oil temper cumin seed bay leaf and whole garam masalas

Add onion slices saute well

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

Add all the masalas and red chilli powder,saute adding salt and turmeric powder

Add tomato saute till it starts getting tender

Add the boiled chickpeas and mix well adding sugar

Serve it with roti or poori
