Slice avocados lengthwise. Sprinkle with lemon to keep from browning. Make sure avocados are not too ripe as they will break apart

Prepare your station. Add flour to one bowl. Beat eggs in another bowl. Add wholewheat flour in a different bowl

Add salt, cumin and paprika in the wholewheat flour and whisk to combine

Dip one avocado in the wholewheat flour make sure its completely coated
- 5
Dip the flour coated avocado into the egg then dip the avocado into the breadcrumbs until fully coated. Gently pat so that the breadcrumbs stick firmly to the avocado

Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan. Add the avocados and fry until golden brown
- 7
Serve immediately with sauce or dip
