Ingredients

1 tbspolive oil
1/2medium onion, diced
4 clovesgarlic minced
14 oztomatoes
3/4 cupvodka
1 tbspchopped basil
1/2 tsporegano
1 cupmushrooms sliced
1/2 cupheavy cream
1/2 cuphalf&half
8 ozpenne
parmesan

Steps

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil
2

Add tomatoes, vodka, basil and oregano and bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer
3

After cooking for 10 min add mushrooms and simmer for 10 more min
4

Reduce to a low heat stir in half and half and cream season with salt
5

Toss with pasta
