Steps

Take a large bowl combine all purpose flour,salt,semolina,besan, carom seeds,crushed black pepper,oil/ghee and mix well.

The texture should be crumbly.

Make a stiff dough with the help of water.
Cover the dough and keep aside for 15 minutes. - 4
Now roll the dough into thick chapati.

Cut into circle with cookie cutter or cup of a bottle.

Now make six cut for petal shape and twist in the edges.

Make all the mathris in the same way and prick the mathris with a tooth pick.

Heat enough oil in the the pan and when it becomes hot, lower the flame to medium add the flower shape mathri and deep fry in hot oil till they become golden and crispy.

Serve with tea.
