My dad was kind enough to share some wild edible mushrooms with me....

First,clean your wild mushrooms thoroughly and boil them for about 5 minutes

In a cooking pot,brown your beef/mutton..you want to retain that "meaty" flavor

In the meantime,prepare your onions, tomatoes,garlic,carrots, and green pepper

Add your onions, garlic and oil to the browned meat..let them cook for a few minutes

Add your tomatoes and tomato paste....add your salt and pepper at this point

Let them cook well...keep turning so that they do not stick to the cooking pot. Give your meat enough time to cook thoroughly and evenly

Add in your mushrooms,carrot,and green bell pepper... Then add your red wine

Leave the pot uncovered so that the wine evaporates....now add your stock or water..just enough to create the sauce you wish to have

Let it cook on low heat for a few more minutes or till everything is well cooked

Serve with a starch of your choice
