Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 cupsAll-Purpose flour
  2. 1/2 teaspoonBaking Soda
  3. 1 cup (2 sticks)Softened Unsalted Butter
  4. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar
  5. 1 cuppacked light-brown sugar
  6. 1 teaspoonsalt
  7. 2 teaspoonsVanilla essence/extract
  8. 2eggs
  9. 2 cups (12 ounces)semi-sweet/or milk chocolate chipa (preferrably dark)

    Preheat you oven to 350°C.

  2. 2

    In a small bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.

  3. 3

    In a bowl with electric mixer, mix together the butter and both sugars until light and creamy. Reduce the speed and add the salt, vanilla and eggs (do it one at a time so it doesnt split apart).

  4. 4

    Sift the flour mixture in the wet mixture and stir until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Drop heap Tablespoon balls on to parchment paper and make sure that they a 2 inches apart.

  6. 6

    Bake the cookies until golden on the edges (which is approx. 8-10 minutes). Let them cool for 1-2 minutes and then place them onto a cooling rack to cool. Place these cookies in an airtight container and lasts for 1 week.
