Ingredients

  • 2 cupsall purpose flour
  • 3eggs
  • 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla essence
  • Pinchsalt
  • 3/4 cupmargarine
  • 3/4 cupsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix margarine and sugar until pale and fluffy

  2. 2

    Add in your eggs and vanilla

  3. 3

    Add your flour, salt and baking soda

  4. 4

    Grease the baking tin and pour your dough

  5. 5

    Bake your cake in a preheated oven@ 170 degrees for 25-30mins.

Sounds like what my sister made in 1952 at school cooking class, taste great then. I think I just might make your cake recipe.
