Ingredients

15- 2o minutes
2 servings
  • 1/2 cupBadam(almonds)
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/4+1 cupwater
  • 1/2 cup+ 2tsp milk
  • 1/4 cup+ 2 tsp ghee
  • 2-3 strandskesar(saffron) soak in 2 tbsp milk
  • 1-2 PinchOrange colour
  • as neededFew chopped almonds for garnish

Steps

15- 2o minutes
  1. 1

    Boil almonds in 1 cup water for 5 minutes and peel the skin

  2. 2

    Add 1/4 cup water and make fine paste

  3. 3

    Take one thick bottom pan or nonstick pan add 1/4 cup ghee,add almonds paste and stirring constantly 5 to 7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add milk, sugar, saffron milk and pinch of orange colour and stirring constantly until halwa cook.add 2 tsp ghee and mix it.

  5. 5

    Garnish with almonds.
