Wash omena with warm water till no sand remains.

Dry on low heat with some cooking oil and salt until they turn slightly dark brown.

Add onions and stir until well cooked, then add tomatoes and continue frying until the tomatoes are cooked.

You can add spices of your choice. I normally add a little royco and black pepper.

Serve with ugali.
