Ingredients

45 minute
3 servings
  • 1 cuprefined flour
  • 1 tbspsemolina
  • 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  • 2 tbspoil
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil for deep frying
  • 3-4potatoes
  • 1tomato
  • 3-4green chillies
  • as neededspinach
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1/2 bowlSev
  • to tasteTamarind and green chutney
  • 1/2 tspchaat masala
  • as neededcoriander leaves for serving

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the flour with the Ajwain, oil, salt and water make a soft dough.  

  2. 2

    Divide the dough into 10-­12 small portions. Roll them like chapathi. Prick with fork, so that it don't puff out.

  3. 3

    Heat the oil in a pan,fry the poori, on medium or low flame till it turns crisp and golden in colour.   Drain the Poori on tissue paper to remove the excess oil. 

  4. 4

    Boil and peel the potatoes. Mash the boiled Pototoes. In pressure cooker add the mashed potatoes, chopped tomato, green chillies and spinach. Pressure cook and take 1 whistle. 
    While serving, Place poori and top with cooked aloo mixture.   
    Drizzle tamarind chutney, curd,green chutney on top of it.
    Sprinkle chaat masala, coriander leaves and serve it.
