I was walking home then i saw mama mboga with omena that were fresh. I decided to make them for dinner.

Ingredients

Omena
2medium sized onions
2red plum tomatoes
1hoho
1/2 (1 cup)dairy cream
Corroander
to tasteSalt

Steps

Select your omena. Remove dirt and stones

Boil water and put the omenas inside, let them soak, dirt will settle at the bottom.

Remove with hand and place in another bowl of warm water.

I do the final rinse with cold water and drain them completely.

In a pot, put the oil and the onions. Let them fry till transluscent

Add the omena and cook, till brown.

Add the tomatoes and let cook until the tomatoes are smooth.

Add the hoho and very little water. Give it 5mins.

Add the dairy cream and corriander and cover. Let it simmer for 5-10mins
