Add water to pot and boil till simmering

Add milk and tea leaves and cook until it starts to almost boil over. Use sieve to mix and turn heat to very low gently simmering

Add the cinnamon if you have whole cinnamon sticks the better, and crushed ginger, cook for 7 minutes

Strain the tea into a thermos or tea pot. Serve in cups, you can have it sugarless or add to taste
