Ingredients

  • 2 cupSooji / semolina
  • 1 cupCurd
  • 1 tbspEno fruit salt
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped beans
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped carrot
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped capsicum
  • 1Finely chopped green chilli
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbspGrated bottle gourd / lauki
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 1/4 tspBlack mustard seeds
  • 8 - 10Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tspCumin seeds
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl mix together semolina / suji,curd,turmeric powder,chat masala,garam masala powder,salt,green chilli, coriander leaves and all veggies with enough water for a thick consistency and leave it aside for half an hour.

    Add eno fruit salt just before making handvo and mix well.

    Heat oil in a non stick pan.

  4. 4

    Add black mustard seeds and cumin seeds to crackle and add curry leaves

  5. 5

    Pour the semolina / suji batter and let it cook on the low flame and covered

  6. 6

    Cook for 10 mins then flip over till golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

    Cook again for 10 mins till brown and crispy.

  8. 8

    Serve hot.
