I love my managu bitter, but my kids can't stomach bitter managu. Thats why i add dairy cream to lessen the bitterness.

I love my managu bitter, but my kids can't stomach bitter managu. Thats why i add dairy cream to lessen the bitterness.
Steps

Remove the leaves from the stalks

Put them in alot of water. Sometimes they have soil and Putting them in alot of water makes the soil sink.

Rinse 3 times.

You can boil for few minute before frying or you can fry them without boiling.

Under medium heat, put your oil and onions and fry them till transluscent.

Add the tomatoes, let them cook till soft.

Add the boiled managu and mix thoroughly.

Cover and let it cook for few minutes.

Add the dairy cream and give it a final mix. If ita too thick, add very little water or milk.

Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove and serve with Ugali.
