A traditional Hausa food made from wheat flour,salt and yeast.And the taushe soup is made of pumpkin, spinach,and other veggies

Sieve the flour together with salt and yeast.Add water and mix to a sticky dough and set aside in a warm place.

Start preparing the soup.make sure all the needed ingredients are at hand and then set to work.Fry onion in a little oil,add the tomato puree,the ground pepper and stir on low heat.when it's thick enough, add water and season,let it boil,and then add the chopped spinach and onions atop.let it simmer on low heat for few minutes then off,so as not to overcook the veggies....

Set a big pan over the fire until very hot.When hot enough, fry the dough like how you fry puff puff only that you spread it a bit wider.drain in a colender and serve while hot.....enjoy your sumptuous meal of punkaso and miyar taushe....
