Typically dhokla are made with gram flour or chickpeas flour..
But today I made this dhokla from semolina ( suji or rava).
Which is deliciously soft and spongy like idli...

Steps

In a bowl mix raw rava curd salt turmeric powder and water as required.Beat until smooth.Make sure there are no lumps.

Keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

Add one large glass of water in steamer..

And heat it in medium heat

In the meantime grease it's tray with oil.Now add eno into the prepared rava mix

Mix well until it's start to bubble.

Pour it immediately into the grease trays.And place it in steamer.

Steam it 3 minutes over high heat then 12 minutes over medium flame.

Check the dhokla if it comes out clean.

Take out trays from steamer..

And keep it aside for cooling.

Cut the prepared dhokla into small squares.

Heat one teaspoon oil in a kadhai for tempering.

Add mustard seeds.

When it starts to crackle add curry leaves and green chillies.

Pour it immediately into your prepared dhokla.

Serve it with green chutney.
