Heat oil and fry the vegetables with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside

Now boil water in a pot,add all the dal

Boil till it is half done,add salt and turmeric powder

Add rice and boil till dal and till rice is soft

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole

Add ginger paste and saute well

Add red chilli Powder,salt, turmeric powder and tomato saute well

Add cumin coriander powder and mix well

Now pour this fried masala into the pot boiling daal and rice

Mix well and add sugar and garam masala powder
- 11
Serve it with fried vegetables
