Ingredients

  • 1small cup baby shrimp
  • 1small cup all-purpose flour
  • 1small cup chickpea flour
  • 1green onion
  • Cilantro
  • Salt
  • Water

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl, combine the flours, finely chopped green onion, cilantro, and salt.

  2. 2

    Boil the shrimp briefly—just enough to cook them since they are very small.

  3. 3

    Once cooked, drain the shrimp and add them to the flour mixture. Gradually add water and mix until you have a smooth batter that is not too runny.

  4. 4

    Heat plenty of oil in a skillet over high heat. Using a large tablespoon, drop portions of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
