Seive the flour in a bowl then add in all the dry ingredients and mix.

Grate the lemon rind and add to your dry ingredients.

Add in melted butter and mix until your mixture looks like wet sand.

Pour in milk little by little until you get a smooth consistently.

Grease your baking tin with butter and dust it with some flour then tap off any excess flour.

Pour in your mixture and bake in a pregnant heated oven for 30-40 minutes @180°c.

Once the timer goes off pierce through the cake with a tooth pick and if it comes out clean your cake is ready, place it in a rack and let it cool down for a few minutes.

Serve your cake with spiced tea and enjoy 😋😋.
