Sausage, Cabbage, & Pasta

Ingredients

  1. 1medium head red cabbage
  2. 24 ozhot Italian sausage
  3. 1lg white onion
  4. 2 (14.5 oz)cans diced tomatoes
  5. 1 Tbetter than bouillon
  6. Italian herb blend
  7. Salt, olive oil
  8. 1# Angel hair pasta
  9. Couple glugs Merlot

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Brown sausage in Dutch oven, remove. (Start tall pot of salted water for pasta)

  2. 2

    Chop and add onions along with herbs

  3. 3

    Add wine to deglaze pan

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes, bouillon, chopped cabbage

  5. 5

    Cook until tender. Return sausage to pan. Olive oil and salt to taste. Serve over pasta
