Baked Nachos
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing this delicious baked nachos recipe. It’s perfect for a Mexican-themed dinner or as an appetizer for your guests. I served mine with ham and cheese quesadillas. Let me know how yours turn out!
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread a layer of tortilla chips on a baking sheet and cover with shredded cheese.
- 2
Add a second layer of tortilla chips and top with plenty of shredded cheese. Place the baking sheet in the oven.
- 3
Tip: You can add ground or shredded meat—just cook it first and add it before baking. I didn’t add meat this time because I forgot to take it out of the freezer.
- 4
While the nachos are in the oven, keep an eye on them to make sure the cheese melts nicely. Meanwhile, dice the onion and tomato.
- 5
When the cheese is melted and bubbly to your liking, remove the tray from the oven and top with the diced onion, tomato, jalapeños (whole or chopped), and guacamole as desired.
- 6
That’s it! You can also add sour cream if you like, but we prefer it without.
- 7
I served mine with ham and cheese quesadillas with tomato sauce and spinach. Delicious!
