Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1 cupmuskmelon cubes
  • 1/2 tspoil
  • 1/4 tspcummin seeds(jeera)
  • 1 pinchasafoetida (hing)
  • 1/8 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspjaggery
  • 2cocum small pieces
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3/4 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut muskmelon 1 thick slice from whole fruit, discard the seeds part, peel the outer skin, cut into cubes. Keep aside.

    Keep kadhai on low flame,add oil,as it is warm do tempering of cummin seeds and asafoetida. Now pour water,boil it.

    As the water start boiling add muskmelon cubes,mix well.

    Add turmeric powder red chilli powder, jaggery,cocum, and salt to taste. Mix and cook for few mins till muskmelon cubes are tender.Off the flame.

    Serve hot with roti garnishing with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
