Steps

Mix maida, rawa and custard powdered till its combined well.

Add the powdered sugar into it and slowly add ghee till a smooth dough is formed.

The amount of ghee will depend a bit on the type of flour

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and keep it ready

Preheat the oven at 160-180 degree celsius for atleast 10-12 minutes

Pinch out small balls from the dough and make small smooth balls and place them on the parchment paper.

Make a small criss cross slit at the centre and sprinkle some very finely chopped nuts on the nankhatai

Bake these for 15-17 minutes or till the sides appear a bit golden in colour

Remove the baking tray from the oven and allow the nankhatai to remain in the tray for 4-5 minutes

Gently remove the nankhatai from the tray and place them on a wire rack and allow them to cool well.Store in airtight containers and enjoy them.
