Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3arge potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
  • 3/4 cupfrozen peas (uncooked)
  • 1/2large onion, chopped
  • 1jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 1 tsp.chili powder
  • 2 tsp.garam masala
  • 1 tsp.cumin powder
  • 1 Tbspgrated ginger
  • 1 handfulfresh parsley or cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 2 Tbspbread crumbs (I used panko)
  • 4 Tbspflour

Steps

  1. 1

    Once the potatoes have been boiled, mash them and add in all the other ingredients

  2. 2

    Form into patties about 8 patties

  3. 3

    Heat a little oil over medium-high heat and fry a few minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain and cool on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Serve with any kind of sauce you like but a good mango chutney or cucumber raita is great.
