I've bought dry apricots as my souvenir when traveling to Pakistan. Using that apricot and baked it.

Ingredients

  1. 60 gbutter unsalted
  2. 60 gcake flour
  3. 60 gsugar half brown, half white
  4. 1egg
  5. 1/2baking powder
  6. 30-40 gdry apricot
  7. rum
  8. cinamon
  9. honey
  10. squeezed lemon

Cooking Instructions

    Cut dry apricot and poor rum. Warm it in the microwave approx 30sec. I added a piece of cinnamon as well.

    Mix butter and sugar

  3. 3

    Mix with egg.

  4. 4

    Mix with floor and baking poweder and apricot in 1.

  5. 5

    Butter on the mold.

  6. 6

    Pour 4 into the mold.

  7. 7

    Bake it approx 15mins under 170C.

    Mix rum, honey and squeezed lemon, maybe a bit of hot water if it's too sticky and pour it from the top.

    Bake it again for 20-25mins. And pour the same liquid.
