Ingredients

  1. 1lemon sized tamarind
  2. 1 cuppeanuts
  3. 1onion
  4. 1 tablespoonjeera/cumin seeds
  5. 1 tablespoonurad daal
  6. 10red chillies
  7. To tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast peanuts, jeera, red chillies and urad daal.

    Grind all the ingredients except onion without water.

    Add water and grind to smooth paste.

    Crush the onion or can dice. Crushed onions gives more taste.

    Add the crushed onions and serve with hot rice and ghee.
