Cooking Instructions
- 1
First, melt the good quality chocolate with a high cocoa content and butter in a double boiler and let it cool slightly.
- 2
In a bowl, add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Beat well with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- 3
Add the melted chocolate mixture once it has cooled, and stir with a spatula until well combined.
- 4
Then add the flour and baking powder, and stir with a spatula until you have a smooth mixture.
- 5
Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool and firm up the dough.
- 6
Take a portion of the dough, flatten it in your hands, fill it with Nutella, and shape it into a flat ball. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 7
Decorate the top with dark chocolate chips and bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes at a medium temperature.
- 8
Once baked and cooled, store in the refrigerator and serve cold. Enjoy! This is how it looks inside, chewy and delicious 😋😋😋

German Chocolate Brownie Sandwich Cookies German Chocolate Brownie Sandwich Cookies
I wanted to serve German chocolate cake with the ability to transport it and have it easy to serve so I filled these cookies with the traditional coconut pecan frosting / filling. The cookies are a take on my fudge brownies and are good all by themselves but wonderful with the filling! fenway
