Heat oven to 350*. Grease 8x8x2" pan.

Beat brown sugar and butter until fluffy.

Stir in baking mix and walnuts until mixture is crumbly; reserve one cup.

Press remaining mixture in pan.

Bake 12 minutes.

Mix cream cheese and granulated sugar.

Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.

Spread cream cheese mixture over layer in pan.

Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture.

Bake until center is firm, about 25 min.

Cut into 2" squares. (Makes 16 cookies)
