This is a great vegan dessert or energy boost before a workout

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cuppitted and sliced Medjool dates
  2. 1/2 cupwater
  3. 100 gdark chocolate
  4. 1/4 tspsea salt
  5. 1 cupcrumbled graham cookies

Cooking Instructions

    Boil water, turn down to medium high and add dates, boil about 5 minutes. Crush with a fork until smooth

    Add chocolate and melt, remove from heat.

    Mix in sea salt and graham cookies. Blend until smooth

  4. 4

    Let cool 1 minute. Scoop up 1 Tbsp and place on a cookie sheet, refrigerate one hour.
    Remove from fridge and roll into a ball

    Can be saved in fridge for 1 week or frozen for 3 months.

    VARIATIONS:

    Add 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut shavings
    or
    Add 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
    or
    Add 1/8 tsp of mint essences
