Winter special Green chana nimona... Usually we made nimona with fresh green peas but I made with green chana it's really tasty .
Steps

First add green chana in mixer jar and coarsely grind them.(not much)

Take off in a bowl, in a same jar add roughly chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and grind them to make puree.

Now heat a pan with oil,add chopped potatoes and stir fry for a min.on low flame,take off in a bowl.

In a same pan add cumin seeds stir,add hing, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder (keep the flame low)quickly add prepared tomato puree and stir well, add salt and garam masala powder too.cook for a min.until oil separates from masala.

Now add stir fried potatoes and ground paste of green chana stir well,cook for a min, on low to medium flame.

Add 1cup of water stir nicely,cover it and cook for 4-5 mins.(stir occasionally)

Add fresh coriander mix, squeeze lemon juice too and switch off the flame.

Tasty green chana nimona is ready, can be served with rice, parantha and also with makki ki roti.
