These are the Hummingbird Bakery recipe with some nuts added. I have been making these for years and always get lots of compliments!

Line a square 9 x 9 tin and pre heat oven to 200c

Melt the butter and chocolate together - I did this on the hob using a bain marie (a bowl over boiling water-make sure the boiling water doesn't touch the bowl)

Mix the sugar into the melted chocolate butter mix.

Mix in the flour

Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and gently whisk with a fork.

Stir the eggs into the brownie batter and mix until well combined. Add the nuts and stir until evenly distributed.

Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake in the oven for 25-35 minutes depending on how fudgey you like your brownies. Leave them to cool for atleast 45 minutes before slicing them into squares.
