Ingredients

  • 1 kgcarrot
  • 1/2 litermilk (full fat)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4elaichi (skinned and powdered)
  • 1/2 cupmawa
  • Handfulmixed nut (pista, cashews &almonds)

Steps

  1. 1

    Add grated carrots, milk & begin to stir.

  2. 2

    Cook until the milk has completely evaporated.

  3. 3

    Add sugar and stir.

  4. 4

    Cook until the half moisture evaporated and the halwa thickness add grated mawa.

  5. 5

    Stir & cook for just 2 or 3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Garnish halwa with nuts. Serve warm or chilled.
